Favorite Destination:

The Riviera Maya! The Riviera Maya is located South of Cancun in Mexico’s northeastern Yucatán Peninsula. Here you can truly embrace the natural wonders of the Yucatan.
You can take on a unique adventure at an eco-theme park like Xcaret or Xel-Ha, get up close to spider monkeys in their natural habitat, find underground swimming holes called cenotes, and discover ancient ruins and pyramids!
We love the eco-tourism that the Riviera Maya has to offer and it's one of our favorite family-friendly destinations.

Top Recommendation:

If you're planning a trip to the Riviera Maya, I highly recommend visiting Xel-Ha. Not only will you get to swim in cenotes and underground rivers, but the eco-theme park has a variety of adventure activities on land and sea.
You can cliff jump or zip line over a river, have fun with challenging obstacle courses, or go snorkeling in the lagoon. There's also a Children's World with obstacles courses just for kids! The park is a natural wonder and an amazing experience for the whole family.

Travel tip you swear by:

It sounds so cliche but sometimes you really just have to go with the flow. When you're traveling, something is always bound to go wrong, and it's the attitude you take on after it that can either make or break your trip.
We travel with our kids often and have learned to really embrace these situations- it helps us all be a little more patient and in the end we have to remember that the journey is half of the fun!

Thanks for chatting with us, Aly!
